The fully white variety is sometimes called a White Specter, and the totally blue variety is called Electric Blue crayfish. Ghost crayfish can grow up to 4.5 inches long, and males have an extra pair of swimmers on their undersides that can be used to differentiate them from females. They are omnivorous and eat high-quality sinking pellets, plants, and freeze-dried or frozen meaty foods. They can be aggressive or territorial with other crayfish, but they are slow-moving and are not often able to harm fast-moving fish. Recommended tank mates for ghost crayfish include fast-moving fish such as Celestial Pearl Danios, Rasboras, and Guppies.
