BLUE BETTA FISH

Betta fish can grow to a maximum size of about 3 inches and come in over 70 different types, with various fin shapes and colorations. Blue bettas are a type of non-metallic betta, also known as traditional bettas. The blue color in bettas is determined by the Bl, but there are four theoretical layers that produce color in bettas: iridescent colors, metallic traits, and non-metallic traits. 

As pets, bettas should be kept in a filtered, heated aquarium with ample room for decorations and swimming. The water temperature should be between 76° and 84° F, and plants and other decorations should be provided to provide cover. A secure lid is also required, especially in small containers, to prevent your betta from jumping out of its fish tank. Bettas are carnivores and should be fed a high protein diet, such as frozen, pellet, and flake foods.
