APPLE SNAIL FISH

Apple snails (Ampullariidae) are freshwater snails that are part of the aquatic gastropod mollusk family. They are native to South America but are also found in aquarium stores. Apple snails are opportunistic feeders that eat a variety of aquatic vegetation, fruits and vegetables, algae, and other snail eggs. They are highly adaptable and can survive in drought and low oxygen conditions by burrowing in the mud.
